Appartmentbuilding Zurich Zurich, October 2004.  In this project, the stainless steel wire mesh was chosen for it’s characteristic of being able to screen any window in any weather condition, giving a real thermal insulation of the facade and an effective resistance to wind and possible deterioration caused by UV rays and smog. D-sign weave, type Flexy TR, also has a good transversal rigidity and a great flexibility in the lengthways. It is a particular “free” plaited structure, with a self-adaptation to curves or irregular surfaces, it can be accuired on coil or in sheets.
