Popstation Eindhoven, 14-10-2005. The building is used for a central of broaband connections of the NEM (network exploitation company), 10.000 glasfibre connections to internet and other networks. The d-ko expanded metal, design Ministry, is used to close the enormous ventilation openings of the building. The reason this material was chosen is that it has a relatively open chracter but at the same time, when seen from a straight angle, the surface of the material is seemingly closed. The material choice of copper gives the building a unique feature.
